As you plan for the arrival of a beautiful baby into your life and home, be sure to contact the Temple for help identifying a mohel; securing a venue for the bris or baby naming ceremony; planning the bris or naming ceremony and timing according to Jewish custom; and to involve our Clergy in this most special of events. A bris is traditionally held on the eighth day of a baby boy’s life. A baby naming for a girl is often held on the eighth day, as well, but may be scheduled any time. As soon as your baby arrives, please contact one of our clergy at 713-771-6221 or Rabbi David Lyon, Rabbi Adrienne Scott, Rabbi Aaron Sataloff.
