The Margolis Gallery 1

The Margolis Gallery, a modern space within Congregation Beth Israel, presents curated art exhibitions free of charge to Temple members and the entire Houston community. Exhibits, art-related outings and unique experiences possess a relevancy to Judaism and seek to enhance the human experience through that context.

The Gallery is more than simply an exhibition space, also existing as “home-base” for art enthusiasts to engage in and get excited about art in a variety of manners, together. The Margolis is currently expanding its slate of “experiential” outings and activities – hands-on “maker” events led by professional artists, tours of private art collections, gallery tours, and special-interest events held in The Gallery are just a sampling of the exciting developments launching this year.

Come join The Margolis Gallery; explore your artful curiosity in its peaceful setting overlooking the Wolff-Toomim Meditation Garden – or, out and about exploring art with like-minded friends, both new and familiar.

The Gallery wants to hear from you! Share your ideas for art-related events and outings that interest you with Laura Kaplan, Art Staff Liason.

The Margolis Gallery is managed by a volunteer art committee, inviting new volunteers and new ideas. To join, please Laura Kaplan, Art Staff Liason.

Gallery exhibits are open to view during business hours. If you have any questions, please call the front desk at (713) 771- 6221.
