The Margolis Gallery Vision
The Margolis Gallery, dedicated in October of 1987 to honor Maurice and Florence Margolis, presents art exhibitions with a Jewish thread, intended to stimulate, excite, awaken, inform, and inspire. Decades of rotating exhibits that showcase noteworthy artwork continue with the tradition of free admission to all who wish to attend. Interactive programming, art-focused outings, and curated unique experiences seek to enhance the human experience and connection.
The modern space within Congregation Beth Israel proudly serves as one of the only American synagogues to house an art gallery dedicated to presenting multiple, temporary exhibits each year. Overlooking the peaceful Wolff-Toomim Meditation Garden, The Margolis Gallery’s serene space also serves as a meaningful multi-purpose place for educational purposes, meetings, speakers, films, and private events.
