Curriculum

Our robust MBJLC curriculum focuses on Jewish texts, values, and holidays to enable each child to experience Jewish living and learning both within the walls of our Temple and beyond. We utilize curriculum resources from Moving Traditions, Shalom Learning, and a significant emphasis on Israel Eduction utilizing IsraelLink. Each grade also enjoys experiential learning opportunities in family settings with our Morim Mishpacha or Family Education programming. Also, each grade level enjoys Tiyyulim (Field Trips) and Mitzvah Mavens (off campus Mitzvah Projects) to enhance and supplement the formal learning that occurs in our learning spaces.

Our Hebrew program incorporates the Hebrew in Harmony curriculum, a modern and dynamic musical program that emphasizes Tefilot (prayers) and meaning-making.

In addition to our formal programming, the MBJLC experience also includes weekly Tefilah each Sunday morning along with many experiential moments, such as family engagement, music, art activities, and other special rituals for our children and parents.
