Weddings: Whether you are looking to hold a Jewish or interfaith wedding, Congregation Beth Israel harbors a 1,000-guest sanctuary with a variety of other rooms and meetings spaces for additional festivities.

Funerals: Although not the most joyous of Jewish family community events in Houston, Congregation Beth Israel provides resources for such occasions including grief counseling, coordination of service and, access for members to a plot in our historical cemetery.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah: This is a major Houston Jewish family celebration and one that will prove to be truly special for the individual girl or boy. Congregation Beth Israel provides a whole booklet of information that will help the his or her journey to becoming a man or woman.

The Hurricane Harvey Flood Fund

Hurricane Harvey left Houston and surrounding areas in a shambles, but the great people of Houston are banding together to help and heal. Your help is welcome and needed. You may send Gift Cards (Kroger, Target, HEB, Lowe’s, or Visa/Mastercard, etc.) to Congregation Beth Israel. They will be immediately distributed to area neighbors to assist in replacing essential items and children’s school supplies.
