Southwest Diplomatic Marathon

The annual AJC Southwest Diplomatic Marathon consists of a series of small group panel discussions with diplomats representing nations across the world, followed by an evening reception and speaker program.  This year’s event will feature Representative Sylvia Garcia, who serves on the House Judiciary Committee, as well as consuls general from France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Israel, and several others. The evening reception – presented in partnership with the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston – will include heavy hors d’oeuvres and a panel discussion on the Northern Triangle (Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador) with Sarah Saldaña, former director of ICE under the Obama administration, and others.

$25 general registration; $18 discounted registration rate for members of AJC Marshall Society, members of Congregation Beth Israel, and members of World Affairs Council
