Go beyond the basics of Judaism with David Scott, RJE! Join him in the Lewis President’s Room over lunch to focus on a particular topic, including the deeper understandings of Creation, family conflicts and resolution, and discussions of slavery and redemption. Using ancient sources, we will come to a modern understanding of these timeless themes. We will use selections from our early rabbinic writings, known as midrash, and also explore other biblical texts in addition to the Torah.
