Monthly Midrash: Preparing for the New Year inspired by David Brooks

On September 17th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m, we will follow bestselling author, New York Times columnist, and founder of Weave: The Social Fabric Project (at the Aspen Institute) David Brooks’s recent 92nd Street Y program in New York City. This video will guide us through a discussion moderated by David Scott, R.J.E. to help us prepare for the New Year based on where we are, where we’re heading, and what can be done to bridge the growing gaps. We will look at ways David Brooks and our High Holy Day liturgy speak to how we can become better versions of ourselves in the New Year.
