Rabbi David Ellenson, PhD & Chancellor Arnold Eisen, PhD – March 15, 2019
The Inclusion Committee meets regularly to discuss ways for the congregation to be more inclusive to all members including those with physical challenges, special needs, LGBTQI members, and other areas of inclusiveness. It also oversees the WAYS (“With All Your Soul”) program that helps members in various transitional stages in their lives including bereavement support, empty nesters, divorce support, and other areas. The committee is also mindful of ways to enhance our Sanctuary and other sacred spaces to be more accommodating to those with physical and sensory challenges. We provide large print prayer books, audio enhancing equipment, and other services to assist those in need during worship. The committee is focused on continuing to implement strategies to be more inclusive in all of our programming, events, and other services throughout the congregation and across our campus.
