In the fall of 2008 we will begin the process of choosing Bar/Bat Mitzvah dates in 2010-2011 for current 5th Graders. Watch for notice of a 5th Grade Parents' Meeting with Rabbi Lyon and Cantor Gerber in September or October. They will discuss and answer your questions about the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Process at Congregation Beth Israel. You will also receive a packet of information which will include forms for requesting a 2010-2011 Bar/Bat Mitzvah date.

Confirmation of 2010-2011 Bar/Bat Mitzvah dates will be mailed in mid-December 2008. Should you need further information please contact Cantor Gerber's office.

If you have a current 6th or 7th grader who does not have an assigned date for 2008-2009 or 2009-2010 you should contact Cantor Gerber's office immediately.
