SISTERHOOD BRUNCH
Don’t miss Sisterhood’s third and final brunch in this series. Sunday, October 15th at 10:00am. Come as you are and spend time with your sisters in a fun, supportive environment. Meet in the Margolis Gallery for Rabbi Herman’s talk, then coffee and mimosas after.


5TH GRADE PARENTS' MEETING
Parents of 5th Graders in the Miriam Browning Jewish Learning Center and The Shlenker School who are Beth Israel members are invited to meet in Wolff-Toomim Hall at 10:30 on Sunday, October 15 to discuss signing up for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah in the 2019-2020 school year. Please RSVP to gtuker@beth-israel.org.

ADULT B'NEI MITZVAH CLASSES
Adult B'nei Mitzvah classes will begin the week of Sunday, October 15. Rooms and times are to be determined. Those interested in these classes are asked to contact Greg Tucker at gtucker@beth-israel.org.

ADULT HEBREW
Our Adult Hebrew program begins the week of Sunday, October 15, 2017, and offers two yearlong courses. The courses are taught through modern Hebrew and are not prayer based. The first year, which is held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m., teaches beginner’s Hebrew and focuses on grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. The second year, which is held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m., focuses on phrases, reading comprehension, and speaking. KIDS' MEALS
On Wednesday, October 25, Congregation Beth Israel will continue our monthly mitzvah project of making sack lunches for Kids’ Meals. We will meet at 9:30am in Margolis Gallery. LEISURE CLUB
Join us on Wednesday, October 25, for Leisure Club with guest speaker Rabbi Chase Foster. He will discuss his topic: "Godflix: Images of God in Movies and Television.” Lunch begins at 11:30am, with the program to follow at 12:15, in Wolff-Toomim Hall.
