LYON AND LAPIN ON AJC PANEL
Rabbi David Lyon and Bobby Lapin will be participating in a panel discussion sponsored by the Houston chapter of the American Jewish Committee on the topic of the Pew 2016 Study of Israeli Society on Sunday evening May 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Junior League of Houston.


NEW HIGH HOLIDAY PRAYER BOOK
As Rabbi David Lyon wrote in the Spring Bulletin, we are pleased to invite you to experience Congregation Beth Israel’s new High Holiday prayer book, Mishkan HaNefesh, published by the Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR). Long before October, join us now to touch, read, and explore Mishkan HaNefesh with us on Tuesday night, May 24th, at 7:00 pm. Our rabbis and cantor will lead an orientation to facilitate a meaningful transition into the Jewish New Year. Please contact Jodi Cortez, 713-271-7369, to RSVP.

MBJLC REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2016-2017 School Year is in progress. Take advantage of early-bird rates. On the first of June tuition will increase $100 per child. Registration materials are available here. Contact the Miriam Browning Jewish Learning Center, 713-271-7369, for further information.
