Core is an exciting new take on a volunteer choir designed to enhance congregational worship. There are no auditions and no previous musical experience or skills required. Meetings for Core will start in late September and will take place during select Sunday mornings. Further details will be posted soon. Beatles Shabbat - March 23, 2012
On March 23, 2012 Cantor Mutlu presented Beatles Shabbat. Our regular Friday night liturgy was sung to the tunes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Enjoy these excerpts.

Vocal Recital and Interview - February 26, 2012
On Sunday, February 26, 2012 Cantor Mutlu presented a Vocal Recital in Cullen Hall on the campus of the University of St. Thomas. He was accompanied by Robert Brewer, University of St. Thomas faculty member and Beth Israel's assistant Organist. They presented works by Handel, Bach and Dichterliebe by Schumann.
"The Front Row" show on Houston Public Radio's Classical Music Station, 91.7 fm, interviewed Cantor Mutlu before the Recital.
